As Business Development Director for Ward Associates, Michael will work with the Marketing Department to target and pursue new business relationships for the agency. His background in advertising and broadcast sales gives him the ability to identify the right clients and industries that best benefit from Ward Associates’ specialty services.

As CEO of Creative Media Partners, Michael founded and built a successful advertising business from the ground up. He served as Station Manager for three of the Sacramento CBS Radio stations, including KZZO 100.5, "The Zone," "The Mix," and KHTK “Sports 1140.” In that capacity, he worked on numerous high profile broadcast campaigns and negotiated major sports contracts with the NBA franchise "The Kings.” Michael is also a gifted musician and event planner, responsible for many events throughout the region.

Prior to his tenure at CBS, Michael was the General Sales Manager at KFBK Radio, “Newstalk 1530 AM,” for ten years. At KFBK, he managed more than 50 employees and was responsible for generating over $24 million in annual advertising and sponsorship revenue.

Recently, Michael held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for WiFi Rail Inc., a high tech startup and wireless mobile broadband company. He helped raise the private equity to fund the company that recently secured a 20 year contract with BART to install a WiFi network on trains. Michael also has a BS in Business Marketing from CSUS Sacramento.
